On November 21, YouTube channel Threecombo announced the sad news that Sung Yong, one of its prominent members, had passed away at the age of 35.

"Hello, Threecombo here. It is with great sadness that we share this news. We regret to inform you that our beloved Yong has passed away. We hope that all our subscribers who loved Yong will pray for him to go to a better place and we ask that you please refrain from any unnecessary speculation about him. We once again express our deepest condolences to his family members."

Before joining YouTube in 2018, Sung Yong was active as a comedian on the Daehak-ro stages in Seoul. Preparations for his wake will be held at a funeral home in Anseong-si, Gyeonggi Province, and his burial will take place on November 23.
