Juniel Expresses Regret After Using Fan Gifts As Props In His "Dear" Music Video
Juniel regrets using fans' gifts
Singer-songwriter Juniel recently shared her frustrations with her agency in a detailed post on social media.
On November 5, Juniel posted a post revealing her struggles with her agency. She explained, “ Two years ago, after a long hiatus, I released a song called Dear to celebrate the 10th anniversary of my debut. The agency offered to use gifts and fan letters as props for the music video. So I handed over gifts from fans that were on display in my home. ”
Dear, released in 2022 for his career anniversary, actually featured fan letters and gifts as props in its music video.
However, Juniel continued, “ It’s been two years and I haven’t gotten any items back. The drawings, photos, letters, and gifts that fans gave me… I’ve asked the agency dozens of times to return them, but they always say that everything is in order. With the change in staff, they claim each time that it’s a new request that they need to check. They’ve also made excuses like the items are in different places, or that they’re too busy to collect them. Recently, when I asked again, they said that the company had moved and it was likely that they couldn’t take everything, so not all of the props were transferred. ”
Juniel expressed his regret, saying, “ They claim that everything was organized in a box. What would happen if even one item was missing? I would feel terrible thinking about the fan who gave it to me. Maybe I shouldn’t have agreed to use them as props. I thought it would be meaningful to share items related to our story for my 10th anniversary, but I regret it now. ”
Juniel debuted in 2012 with the title illa illa and held their first domestic fan meeting, Happy Juniel , in September of last year.
